libdiscid0 software package provides library for creating MusicBrainz DiscIDs, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libdiscid0
libdiscid0 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libdiscid0 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libdiscid0 *
You will get with libdiscid0 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
